...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Ummmm....

Not to talk against the Hawks, but you should look up what happened in last year's playoffs.

Video is funny. I'm a bandwagon jumper. I don't think that's a bad thing as long as you don't try to pretend you're a die hard. My new HDTV and the olympics are two things that got me into it this year.

My name is JB, people call me JB

I enjoyed it, I thought they did a great job! And BTW, I could care less about any sport until the playoffs. But then again, I am no die hard at all. But play-offs do go well with some beer and a few friends.

lolol, obviously doesn't watch hockey.

can you blame me for not being a die hard hawks fan? i would've waited twice my existing life almost to see them POSSIBLY win a cup. and may be counting since the flyers aren't done till the 3rd period siren goes off at the final game.

Well put. Bill Wertz made some poor decisions. Though he may have been a major hockey fan, he seemed to forget that it was a business. How can you enjoy them if you're never permitted to watch? I remember begging my Dad to subscribe to that pay per view Hawks channel. It's been great to watch them during the regular season!

Don't get me wrong, I agree that they need to build their fan base up and Rocky is doing a very good job at that.

I just hate walking around in my Toews jersey and people come up to me and say "Yeah, "Taves" is awesome! Go Blackhawks!"

Really? At least learn how to say the Captain's name if you're going to pretend to be a fan. They only say it 87 times/game.

And I'm just sour that tickets are so damn expensive now!

I actually started watching a bit after seeing a few USA games in the olympics. I hadn't watched hockey in years and now with HD you can actually see the damn puck.

I'll watch if they are on but haven't planned my schedule around the games. I hope they win but I'm not out buying jerseys either; still a die-hard Fire fan.

+1

i started watching about halfway through this season and really started digging hockey. i used to think of it as soccer on ice but its actually the best sport to watch.

nice physical contact, a lot of non-stop very fast-paced play without a bunch of fouls, time-outs, and all that other game-slowing bullshit. i sat front row back in 2002 and it was the best game ive ever been to.

agreed - 100%. or how to pronounce byfuglien (ok i admit i just had to google his name to speel it rite). the reason so many fans are new is because of dollar bill wirtz - so many local fans had no exposure to what therefore became a strange sport to too many people. but its the greatest sport in the history of the universe- a proven scientific fact. no sissies in hockey.

that song/video was pretty funny.

And oh god do I remember the comet tail on the puck. I always loved it when a player would fake a slapshot (puck goes no where) and the comet tail would go towards the net. I'm glad HD is around so you can just watch the puck.

GO HAWKS!

I loooove hockey, but I haven't been paying the game as much attention since I moved to AZ in '08. I've been pronouncing a lot of names wrong this year and not just Hawks players - which makes this song so true and even more hilarious.
