It's alright, I'm a minor Apple iPhone fanboy. I won't be gargling any balls for it though

I bought an ipod shuffle, 1GB for $80. 3 weeks later they released a 2GB version for $80 and brought down the 1GB to $40. I threw it through the window. I bought it 24 days, but apples policy is if they release a new version in 21 days you can have it replaced.

You should just get an iPhone, it has a built in MP3 player and a lovely iTunes interface to sync with.

You know, you don't HAVE to buy the new version. That logic makes no sense if the current iProduct is better than the Sansa.

I bought a 3GS months after they were release and to replace a years-old WinMo Blackjack 1. And I'll keep this phone for a number of years as it works well and won't work any less-well when a new device comes out. This single 3GS has replaced my old phone, old large iPod, and Zune 4GB collectively.

OMG, Intel came out with a new CPU that's better than what I just bought! Oh, the humanity of it...

Same with graphics cards, same with hard drives, same with memory, etc. Put these newer and better things into a new device and it's better than what was previously on the market... DUH.

You do realize how stupid you sound, don't you?

yea, totally. ATI just put out the best video card on the market and a 1-3 months later they doubled the specs and cut the card price in half.

They actually did such things back when 3d graphics cards were first being developed and brought to market; along with 3dfx, nvidia, diamond, etc...

Here's a tiny little secret... rumors float around on this thing called the interwebz about pending releases and specs... there are also these gatherings called key note speeches where some glasses wearing anorexic looking person gets up and everyone thinks he's some sort of deity... and they usually are announced a decent amount of time in advance to know not to buy any products because something new or upgraded is going to be out...

If you can't figure that shit out in todays day and age, well.... enjoy the whine and cheese.

It's funny how someone is complaining that they bought a shuffle, who's capacity has been around since 2006 (1gb) ...that the manufacturer released one double that size (2gb) in 2008.
