Oh, and he sold this estate in Italy to activist actor George Clooney, just before announcing his running for president. I guess he thought it might not sit well with the common man. ($7.8 million)

Other foreign property ownership by John Kerry is unknown... because he denied repeated requests for this information.

Class warfare is not right, but neither is being a hypocrite. This man wants to be our president, while claiming that he relates to Joe 6-pack and the common man. He wants to raise income taxes on the rich, well, guess what? He won't pay those taxes because he is already rich! He wants to make it harder for you to get rich by raising taxes on your income! Talk about snobbery and protecting his "class."

Don't take this a support for Kerry, I haven't decided myself, but you can't fault a guy for marrying the widower of Heinz ketchup. I'd love to have a sugar momma to support my habits.

I absolutely agree with you. You can't fault him for that but you can fault him for continuing to attempt to present himself as just a "common" man struggling for everything he has like we do. That is

Too true!!! Awww hell...they're all crooks. And yes I know it's a broad generalization but most of them are!

The difference with Kerry is that he's crook with a sugar momma!!!

It's advertising. I fault Bush extremely for using 9-11 in his ads, I hate that with a passion. But we must understand, these people are politicians and will say/do whatever it takes sometimes. Granted Bush's grammer leaves some to be desired.

In the fun of debate, let me retort. First of all 9-11 happened in HIS term. All the decisions that have happened since have had that in mind. Everyone in the country and the world has an opinion on 9-11 and how we have reacted. I think he has every right to use this in his ads. Especially when Kerry is the opposite position of bush on security. Bush is using this to show the american people or remind them that this type of attack CAN happen again and we need to elect a president that can keep us safe.

Secondly, Bush is a far more educated person than you. I am not attacking you on this comment but he is very intelligent. Even the most versed and well spoken person can and does get nervous when their every word is heard my BILLIONS of people and is disected on the most minute level.

I dont remember the exact story but Kerry has married into money once before. He is a gold digger. THen he went to the heinz heiress. He is as shallow as he is 2 faced. He changes his position like the wind. Do you really want a president that makes decision this way? Have you ever heard of groupthink? Ever wonder why deadlock is the result of that? It is because too many people have opinions to make a workable decision. THat is exactly how Kerry would operate. Here is one example. One poll would come in after a bad week in where a big amount of american soldiers died. Americans would be pissed about it so the approval ratings would be low. Kerry would instantly react pulling soldiers away and back home. THen next weeks poll would then say that they agree with the work the soldiers were doing and he would send them back.

Your joking, right? I am dying to hear the supporting information to this statement.

I wouldn't mind that Idaho pad that Kerry has for some back country snow boarding.

WOW! That really doesn't do much for the reputation of those institutions. I'm sorry, I know that everyone isn't the best at speaking to large audiences, but just open your ears and listen to what has come out of this baffon's mouth. Seriously, he needs to hire better speach writers, because ....."stay the course" bullshit is getting old.

I agree that President Bush is not the most gifted speaker that I have heard. His speech pattern could use some improvement but to tell you the truth I am not as concerned about his speech pattern as I am the content of his speech. My primary concern will always be the content of his speech. While we may be able to critique the use of improper verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc; you can bank the fact that President Bush does what he says he will do. In addition to being a fact stating President the manner in which he conveys his speeches is with sincerity and conviction.

Re-read what you wrote. Do you really think he writes his own speeches? Yes he does give the content but he does not write them. So what does this POSSIBLY have to do with his education?

Next is "stay the course getting old." What should he say? Lets pull all the troops out now and create the biggest vacuum in the history of the world, watch Iraq plummet into an abyss of ifrastructure/economic ruin? Let the country be ruled once again by a terrorist or terrorist organization? Or be taken over by another country less hospitable to the U.S.? Holy Smokes what do you really think would happen if we just pulled out of there?

Yep, I misspelled buffoon.

Kelly, I don't think he writes his own speaches. Hence the comment about getting new speech writers.
As far as what else we should do in Iraq, that is up for debate. My point was, the only answer you hear out of Bush is "stay the course" for almost any question. The man can articulate his answers at about a 3rd grade level IMO.

I don't worry much about his speech foibles. I like the general content of his speeches. Even more importantly, though, I like his actions. He actually does what he says! That's something I missed for eight years.

I understand 9/11 was in his term. However, I do disagree giving entire ads to it. Anyway, gold digger? Who isn't? If I had the option to marry into millions of dollars, I know I would.

This whole thing, "Unless you have a bachelor's from Yale and an MBA from Harvard, I think that's all the supporting info you need."
It's just stupid. Bush may have a higher education then me, he is also older.

I can speak in front of large crowds and not make a mistake, and politically, I can stand my own ground, even against the President. I know the Constitution quite well, I wish I could say the same for Bush. The Patriot Act is UnConstitutional, as is discrimination against gays...

I would suggest reading the Patriot Act thoroughly. I have reservations about it but the judicial oversight that is required to enforce it is very stringent. We have been pursuing mafia and drug dealers the precise way the Patriot Act does for suspected terrorists. Judicial authority is required prior to any action being taken against any person or business. So with stipulations such as that being included in this act enforce the "probable cause" rule.

I never heard anyone complaining about this when we were busting drug dealers or mafia folks.

I've read the Patriot Act. And I have said no where I agree with the methods of capturing some criminals that we do. When it all comes down to it, the Patriot Act is UnConstitutional.

The Patriot Act is a controversial subject. I don't have the answers; no one does and that is what scares me.
