The moral of the story...........

A teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment to get their parents to tell them a story with a moral to it.

The next day the kids came back and one by one began telling their stories.

Most of them were the usual "Don't put all your eggs in one basket," or "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched," variety until theteacher asked little Michael to tell his story.

"My daddy told me this story about my Uncle Jim, " he began. "Uncle Jim was a crew chief on a helicopter in Viet Nam and his chopper got hit. He had to jump out over enemy territory and all he had was 2 bottles of whiskey, a machine gun and a machete.

He drank the whiskey before he jumped, so it wouldn't break and then he landed right in the middle of 100 enemy troops! He killed seventy of them with the machine gun until he ran out of bullets, then he killed twenty more with the machete till the blade broke, and then he killed the last ten with his bare hands! "Good heavens," said the horrified teacher, "what kind of moral did your daddy tell you from that horrible story?"

"Stay away from Uncle Jim when he's been drinking!"

"When in doubt, use full throttle. It may not improve your situation, but it will end the suspense."

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
