New to Illinois

Hey folks,

Looks like I will be moving to IL in a few weeks, probably starting off somewhere around Peoria I'm guessing.

Are there any bike nights around that I could get to meet some folks? Any info would be awesome.

Welcome! Peoria is a pretty good time...it's a few hours from where most of us live, but I get down there every year for the TT race in Bartonville.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I'm actually in the Peoria area now as I moved there in April. Haven't found out about too many bike nights or anything like that, but there definitely are plenty of riders around. Good luck with your move.

Welcome -- but sorry to hear you're moving to IL!

Where here:
-speeding 31-40 over the posted S/L is a Class B misdemeanor (criminal offense)
-speeding 40+ over is a Class A misdemeanor
-& we have no 2nd Amendment [ccw] rights (yet{fingers crossed})

I guess on a good note, we have NO helmet law whatsoever, if you desire to roll that way... At least here we do have the choice

...So, where ya' movin' from ?
