haha thx!

I loved the job and I did quite well as cars are a life long passion of mine. However I wrapped up my MBA and I decided to move on to a better opportunity which would allow me to reach some of my life goals. I still keep in touch with all my buddies there and I am good friends with the owners.

Cheers

SmartDrug, what do you have done to the AP1? I just sold my AP2 a few months ago. Still have the Recaros sitting in my basement hehe

Here is how it looked before I sold it.

Nothing much, guy I bought it from had an oddball exhaust/intake on her, took me a while to figure out what kind. Turns out the exhaust is a POS ebay $200 setup -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...ht_4075wt_1165

It's garbage and on the way out this winter, doesn't sound bad but I'm pretty sure does nothing to help HP.

The intake is another mystery. It's a short ram setup but is running one of these filters:
http://www.siliconeintakes.com/image...ue_picture.jpg
And has the center linked to some ducting that runs to the front air dam.

Not a fan of either setup but that's how she came from the previous owner and I've been too busy to mess with either yet. That will change this winter too.

Anyway, she's an '01 and I just crossed 16k miles with her this year, she'll be going into hibernation again soon from the feel of it.

What kind of Recaros were you running? Are you looking to sell them?

How did you like the RFP-1s on her? What sizes were you running?

A bit overdue, but welcome to the board.

I miss my s2k a lot, I have had fully built & caged WRX, EVO and the S2k was the most fun out of all of them.

S2k are fairly well tuned from the factory and actually a lot of the aftermarket "performance" parts will actually decrease the HP.

As for the parts, I loved my Enkei RPF01, its a great bang for the buck as far as weight and quality are concerned. I was running 17x8 F & 17x9 R with 45 offset on Challenge coilovers with European alignment specs. If you ever need any advice on S2k parts or are looking to pick up any aftermarket products give my buddy Greg @ GT Motoring a call & definitively go over there to check out his time attack s2k!

I was running Recaro Pole position on Buddy Club rails. Its the only seat that fits in the car without hitting the interior pieces or taking away the middle compartment. For now I've decided to keep them for the next car

Thanks for the welcome!
