Whats up CLSB!!

What's up CLSB!

Got this site from my brother. Just looking for a site to get good info on and find some local riders and events. Just got my first bike, 02 Katana, at the beginning of this month. So far I've ridden about 500 miles on it this month and enjoying every minute of it. Lots of solo rides, went on a LSD ride this past weekend, that was a great time! Im in the north burbs, so if anybody is around that likes to ride around A LOT, let me know!

welcome, make ure your ride is in good shape like tires and chain/sprockets

katana owners tend to let those things go and used katana's often need tires or a new chain, you can ride either into the ground but the bike will feel like crap with bad tires

I haven't had the chance to check the sprockets yet. Tires are in good shape and chain looks good. I may need to tighten the chain up, but that's all I can spot for now. Just trying to pick things up as I learn, still new to the whole motorcycle scene

get someone experianced to look at your tires and sprockets, sometimes they look fine to a casual observer but they may not be, katanas have steel sprockets so sometimes they look fine but the chain is wasted, how many miles on bike?

I don't really recall how I came up with the username. I think I may have just been bored and registered somewhere that I needed to create a username for. Since my other one was kind of old I decided to create a different one. My name is Dane was just thinking of things and of course first thing you'll think of is "Great Dane" which just sounds bogus, then dangerous came to my mind. And thought it was funny, so I came up with DaneGEROUS. I'm into technology and computers so I just switched some letters with numbers.

On that subject, would you guys let a sportbiker in on your rides? Or would it just fuck everything up?

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."
