New to Milwaukee

hi, I just finished college and moved to Milwaukee from Denver for work. I've survived the winter and can't wait to explore on 2 wheels this spring. I've been riding for street and canyons for 6 years, with 4-5 years of track day experience. I've been corner working with the MRA for 5 years. While I imagine there are some good roads out here, I am most interested in copious cheap track time. The track bike is a N250, the wife's is an R6. We do big and small tracks, as long as it is cost effective. Any help connecting me to this scene would be much appreciated!

I go by the same username on

Well if you still enjoy cornerworking, CCS could use some more experienced cornerworkers for the Midwest region. Main track is Blackhawk Farms in Rockton, IL (north of Rockford, IL on the WI/IL state line about 1.5-2hrs from Milwaukee). Road America and Autobahn Country Club (Joliet, IL. Chicago area) are 2 other tracks CCS races locally. You'll have to go to for their cornerworker sign up.

Sportbike Track Time goes to Autobahn, Road America, Gingerman (south western MI) and Grattan (central western MI) in this area. They do other tracks out east also.

Midwest Track Days runs at Blackhawk Farms, Road America, NCM (KY), Putnam Park (IN).

Motovid runs at Blackhawk Farms and Road America.

Those are the 3 main ones I can think of locally.

For local riding roads, generally in WI the south western part of the state is the "best twisties". Theres spots that are good every where else in WI, but not as much selection. Just cant go crazy (not recommended to go crazy anywhere in WI anyways. Tickets are pretty pricey. What part of Milwaukee?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
