Back in the Saddle!

Hello All,

After selling my bike six years ago, I am finally back on again! Went from a cruiser to my first sport bike. I'm hooked!

I wanted to reach out to everyone and say how happy I am to be riding again and I'm looking forward to making many new connections with people in the Chicago riding community.

I am from the Naperville/Aurora area. I hope to meet some members from close by for local rides. The weather is here!!!

Happy riding!

Old was a Honda Shadow Spirit with some mods. New is a CBR 600F4. I loved that Shadow and wish I never sold it. But I always wanted a sport bike!

So the CBR600F4 was only made for a couple years (1999-2000) before being replaced by the F4i but they have a very sad, and yet, very cool little detail. A couple of Honda employees were killed while testing the F4, one photographer, one test rider. In memoriam, Honda had a very subtle, yet awesome and respectful message cast into every CBR600F4 fairing produced:

More info on the accident and deceased:

IMO, this is one of the coolest memorials I could think of. It shows the brotherhood of motorcyclists and the loyalty of the company to their employees.

Cool bike, welcome back to the addiction, ride safe.
