John,

You answered your own questions It's football and the Bears, the Barrington Bronocs can beat the Bears What are upset about, it's not like if the Hawks lost

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

The Bears suck so bad. I have seen highschool teams that can beat them. I actually watched it hoping I would see a win but they stuck true to their colors and blew it----again....

im not sure what game you guys where watching but the bears didnt play bad, they where not great, chandler couldnt hit the side of a bus, except for the 3 passes, he blew. the defense other then the 52 yard mistake had played a pretty good game!

What Jim said is more along the lines of what I was thinking... from listening to the game it sounded like they were not playing too bad... not that they were dominating by any means but as far as turnovers they should have won the game. I wanted to know if it looked like they just gave up at the end. Which I think is one of the problems with the bears, they lose the games mentally before they do on the field... almost like they are coached to lose.

Why do you people invest any time or emotion in the bears?

I can't say whethter they sucked or not since I haven't watched a game in 3 years but from what I catch in post- game news reports they have this knack of completely letting their fans down. This is why I stopped watching them, no reason to. Kudos to y'all who are die harders and for you people I hope they can bring themselves together soon.

Is all about being a fan Shane, I like the teams of the city's that I have some kind of association with, and even thought the bears have sucked, I am still a fan. Chicago right now has one team that has done something in recent years, the Chicago Fire, and I have gone to their games and support them... but I would really be happy if the Bears, Hawks, Bulls, Sox and Cubs all rocked. I do not like to jump in a bandwagon and join a team just because they do good, or only watch them when they are doing good.

Bears suck, we know it but I am still a fan.

Understood and I too am not a fairweather fan. I for example am a die hard Cubs fan have been since I can remember. Prolly has something to do with my grandfather bringing me to countless games when I was young.I've never been a huge bears, bulls, Hawks, or Sox fan.Sure if they do good I'll cheer for them'cause they are a Chicago team, I see nothing wrong with that. I didn't say that the bears suck. I even heard someone say that they are 2 missed field goals from being in contention for 1st place. But that's just it , and that's what I said, "they have a knack of letting their fans down".

Your right, it is all about being a fan, and to the south side teams, I'm not one that's all.
