dude you gotta stop taking jumpshots from 12ft out. you take at least one a game and you haven't made one all freakin season. there's a reason teams are leaving you wide open outside of the paint.

that is all. kthxbi

He has to take those shots to keep the defense honest.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I've watched a lot of bulls games this year and he's been dead on with that shot all year. Not sure what games you're watching....

you consider .356 dead on? that's his jump shot percentage from 3 ft out this season... he's not as bad on the baseline but damn i don't think i've ever seen him make a shot standing on the bull.

but i am a little surprised, i thought it would be lower than that. maybe it's bc it includes jump shots take from so close

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-tr...offensive-game

but i agree with the article (admittedly didn't read it all), i like how he doesn't just catch the ball and stand there like a deer in headlights like he used to do sometimes.

To be honest, he has not impressed me since he graduated Fla - Sure, as Stacy says, "He has heart, Hustle and Muscle" but he never seems to come thru in the clutch - I get he is a Rodman type D Player but Rodman grabbed EVERY loose ball - Noah just seems to not be at that level and he has been in the league long enough to be better - Yes, Rodman was a F and Noah is a C but IMHO, he is not a true NBA big man C - 7 feet yes, plays like a 6'5 er

Sure he's not Dwight Howard but I'd take him over most centers in the league. He's a huge part of their defense and he adds to their offense. Other than Durant he's been the most productive player out of that draft(maybe Gasol too).

The numbers certainly support your opinion over mine. I seem to remember him making those wide open short jumpers more times than not. I wonder how many shots included in that 25% are contested or tougher shots. He also had a very poor start of the year. I wonder what his percentage is over the last 25 or so games is.

Passing and shooting require different commitment and positioning in terms of defense. He has to shoot the ball, regardless of his percentage, he has to shoot it once in a while to get the defender to commit and open up space. Otherwise its 4 on 5 basketball when the bulls are on offense. Shooting percentage is one small piece of the puzzle.

Sorry, I have to jump in here. Joakim has no where near the athletic ability of Rodman. hard to compare the two. Joakim was brought in for his passing ability in transition. Rodman was brought in to pick up Jordan's bricks. Joakim sees the court like a genius. He has maybe an fraction of Rodman's strength and an ounce of Rodman's reflexes.

no shit, never would have guessed it Bug

Noah is having a shitty year, and seems to have taken a step backwards instead of forwards, but he's still one of the best defense/rebounding big men in the league.

Baseball and basketball all thru HS - I still play pick up hoops at my gym now and then - Pass and Shoot, not much of a lane driver - Leave that shit up to the big fucks but I'll feed 'em all day long

Bill, we talked about your B ball days on one of our FVOR trips together - It meant a lot to me that you shared that part of your childhood with me and it is something that I hold close to my heart - I can see the conversation meant shit to you and that hurts William.......that hurts

I was 2nd string Guard - Not even Pt Guard either but I could shoot due to my older Bros and Dad who shot Hoops just about every night after dinner
