Man, that's cold Jim. I'll say this for Jauron, his players never quit on him.

Now, Shoop on the other hand.....

if you think shoop sucks then you think Jauron sucks, remember he backed him and his philosophy of offense. they players may have not quit on Jauron, but that just shows they have class and desire to win, if you ask me they have the players capable of winning, they just need someone to get them there, and its not dicks coaching staff that will get them there!

In the words of Hawk Harrelson...."He Gone"

I liked Jauron....I wish they would have gave him an ultimatum...fire shoop and you can stay, or your both gone.

I think Blache did an excellent job with the Defense and hope they retain him.

so are you saying the Bears defensive line did a good job of containing the run this year?? I think the linebackers, safteys and corner back masked how bad the defensive line was. How did they rank against the run?? I know they ranked dead last in sacks, ofcourse Blache said sacks dont mean anything, and ofcourse Jauron backed up that comment too. LOL and if Blache is so good why are they going after two denfesive corrodinators for the Head coaching job???? as far as im concerned "HE GONE"

With what he had to work with...finishing 14th in defense is not to shabby. Losing Ted Washington was a huge blow to the run defense. I think our "star" middle linebacker would agree.

Alex Brown had a good year despite only being a second year guy.
Charles Tillman and Lance Briggs had good years for rookies.
Bobby Gray also played well for being a second year guy. There is a lot of talent on the the Defefense...now if we can just get an offense...we be in better shape.

that looks like a list of guys who started after the season was over! hahahahaha, im not saying there isnt tallent on the defense, im just saying most of the run tackling happend past the defenive line, wich is not so good. I asked where there run defense ranked not total defense. im actually surprised to see them ranked 14th

I never liked Jauron because the guy is about enthusiast as a rock, but I didn't think he was the major problem. The McCaskey's must not care that the Bears have only gone to the postseason twice in the last 11 years doing things like giving extentions to Angelo and Phillips. I wouldn't expect any great coach next year either. It's gonna some assistant head coach because we'd rather waste money on unproven talent instead.

The only thing I'm looking forward to next year is watching Rex play.
