Geez, the Packers get lucky again.

I hope you Packer fans realize that they haven't won either of their last 2 games. The other teams GAVE them away.

How about earning a win sometime. This proves it's better to be lucky, than good.

That would be a repeat of Superbowl I.

I think it would be cool if Vermeil won, set the record for coaching 3 different teams in the Super Bowl.

I want them to lose every game they play!!!

I HATE THE PACKERS!!! All they have is fair weather fans. They only come out when the Packers do good. Once Favre is gone, you'll never hear from them again. I can't wait!

Some of us were born and raised in GB ya know. It's not all fair weather folk. Lest ye not forget that we also had to be Packer fans in the 80's...which was not quite so pleasant. We were due for a good decade or so, and we're getting it. So lump it. GO PACK!

...I was waiting for someone to point that out!

Your Chandler was our Lynn Dickie! Your Jauron was our Forrest Greg!

It's all relative. Bears fans need to take their beatings knowing that 10 years from now, we'll be the haters...

meant to post this sooner - enjoy the offseason boys

"I sat next to him on the bus ride," Flanagan said. "He's hurting as much as anybody. He realizes that he doesn't have a lot of opportunities left. If he comes back, assuming he does, this will be year 14. Brett is not going to limp out of this league, he's going to go out on top. . . . But this hurts for him. Everybody is making so much of that one pass. But you know what? This guy played with a broken thumb the majority of the year. Hands down he is our team leader; he is the Green Bay Packers and we are him."

ahhhhhh.... that was fun

did his thumb make him throw the dumbest post-season pass I've seen thus far?

Joe Hart: Packers' blame game easy to play

By Joe Hart
January 13, 2004

Brett Favre knows all about Monday morning quarterbacking, if you believe the commercial. Until he makes amends, he'll be on the receiving end Tuesday through Sunday, too, for the foreseeable future.

Favre forgot to double-bag the Packers' one and only play in overtime Sunday at Philadelphia. And the bottom fell out. Actually, a single sack would have been perfectly acceptable, given what transpired. But instead of bagging a bad play after a bad call, instead of just hitting the turf and taking a modest loss on first down, Favre sprung a leak between the ears. It wasn't priceless, just very pricey.

It was a moment that called for caution, not recklessness; for intelligence, not a wing and a prayer; for some savvy, not another call to the angels of destiny. It may have been Favre being Favre, but this situation called for something more responsible. Actually, what it called for was a steady dose of Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport.

Maybe Favre figured Javon Walker would make one of those miraculous in-traffic catches, as he did in the fourth quarter for a 44-yard gain, and as he did against Oakland the night after Favre's father died.

But Favre's careless moon ball floated far past Walker, and settled softly into the hands of Eagles' safety Brian Dawkins, who returned the interception 35 yards to Green Bay's 34. Six plays later, David Akers kicked the 31-yard field goal that gave the Eagles a 20-17 NFC playoff victory and began a winter of second-guessing and discontent in Green Bay.

"You know, if you're a rookie quarterback, we're sitting here talking about that's the most ridiculous throw you could possibly make in that situation," said Fox Sports analyst Cris Collinsworth, who always cuts right to the chase.
