Considering who the 2 candidates were i guess they made the right call.

Thing that pisses me off is they signed him for 4 years and the (d'angelo and the other clown) got a 5 year extension. What that tells me is they will give him a shot and then they have an out if he sucks so they can place the blame on him for a losing tenure and then once they find "THE COACH" (not Da Coach) they can hire him and after all the attention is diverted they get another extension. UNREAL! Maybe i am reading into this.

1 more thing---D'Angelo also stated he wanted an offensive minded coach and what did they do? Hired an inexperienced defensive coordinator with a very low key demeanor. HHHMMMmmm that sounds familiar......Oh wait that is Dick Jauron all over again.

Lets hope he surrounds himself with A Class coaching staff (offense) and right this sinking ship.

Okay i am reading way into this but i can't help it because i LOVE my BELOVED BEARS!!

NOW LET'S KICK SOME LONG SISSY YELLOW HAIRED AND CHEESE EATING BASTARDS ASSES!!!!!!!

I would of made refrence to the Lions but just like this year and years past i forgot about them!

If the two finalists were Russ Grimm and Lovie Smith, they made the right choice.
It looked like they just pulled Grimm out of the buffet line at Old Country Buffet!!

God I hope he works out, I cant handle another 4 years of a jauron clone.

But with Rex, and if we get rex some more training we could have something good here, but like labdog said we are gonna need some killer coaching staff to surround this guy.

Unfortunalty I think we waited waaaay to long and all the good guys have been snapped up.

If I see shoop on the sidelines again I'm gonna be borrowing a sniper rifle from someone around here

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Yeah, of the two finalists, they did pick the right one.... lets just hope that his "flare" offensive team rubbed off on him and he opens the gate a bit.

On a side note... what ever happens with the Bears... at least that SCREW UP, JACK ASS, BELLY ROLLER SCHOOOOOP IS FIRED!!!!!!!!!!

The bang of a clutch, the clang of a
cog. My symphony of destruction.
