Cubs dugout box seats...

For anyone who's interested...

Dugout Box seat tickets for each Chicago Cubs home game for the
2004 Major League Baseball regular season will soon be available
for purchase. Since there are a limited number of tickets available
for the Dugout Box seats, applicants must fill out and submit a
registration form on cubs.com to participate in this opportunity
to purchase.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, March 31, 2004,
and closes at 5:00 p.m. CT on Friday, April 2, 2004. The Cubs will
then conduct a random selection of winners from the pool of
registrants. The winners will have the opportunity to purchase up
to four (4) Dugout Box tickets at face value, plus convenience and
handling fees, for one (1) Chicago Cubs regular season home game.
Exact date, times and instructions for ticket purchase will be
communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. Games available
for purchase will be determined by the Chicago Cubs in their sole
discretion. There is no charge to register for this opportunity.
There is no obligation to buy a ticket.

Sox? Don't they give those tickets away?? And they STILL can't sell out a game. And the only time they do is when the Cubs come over to play. What's that say? It's not only about Wrigley.

I wasn't trying to start a bashing thread on which team has better attendance I was just saying I'm glad I don't have to pay outrageous prices for tickets to a game or buy tickets from brokers owned by the team. It was announced yesterday the Cubs have the 2nd highest average ticket price in all of baseball. That just sucks for Cub fans is all I was getting at.
