I am a Yankee fan-- through and through. Grew up going to the Stadium and sitting behind first base, watching Don Mattingly play. I had a schoolmate who was the step-niece of Joe Dimaggio and I used to ride my bike past her house on holidays just to catch a glimpse of him. Actually have a yankees tattoo (little known factoid about me...)

anyway....that said, I still thought it was nice to see Boston finally go to the world series, and to win the league championship in such a neat and historic way.

Alright Boston!!!

Now all I need is for the Astros to beat the Cardinals tonight.

and pedro wont be pitching in the next series? Go to another person in the bullpen. He brought in the one player that could get the NY fans all fired up. Poor decision.

Not really, Pedro has sucked against the yanks, i think he referred to them as "His Daddy". if he went a few strong innings against them, that would do nothing but boost his confidence for the series, for he seems to be the type who needs to be confident to do well. I think it was a great deciscion, dont know if thats why they did it, I would hope so. regardless GO SOX!!!!

That was a great series! Nothing made me smile more than seeing Jeter and Rodriguez's pouty sad faces, hahaha.

he's an idiot for making that quote, but putting him in was also idiotic. Find one other person that thinks the logical pulpen choice was pedro.

Well I was thinking the same thing when they put Pedro in. Lowe was on cruise control and maybe they should have kept them in one more inning just like I thought they should have kept Schilling in for one more two days ago. Maybe Francona was just trying to rub it in by putting Pedro in so he could back up his statement about Who's your daddy. I was just thinking in the back of my head while they where hitting the shit out of Pedro "man if Boston loses this one all hell will break loose in the city of Boston.

Awesome series.....I thought the Red Sox were just setting themselves up for another disappointment in a game 7...but damn...Captain Caveman came thru and helped propel them by the Spankess.

Now if only the Cards can win game 7 tonight...I will be a happy camper.

Life is too short to ride anything but an R1

In memory of FastBlueR1...RIP
