Cubs In 2005

I happen to think that the Cubs have had a disastrous off-season. Creating more holes, than fixing them.

My guess is that the Cubs will finish in 3rd place in their division. Any thoughts?

Of course, I still be a sucker and try to pickup some tickets for opening day and the Boston series on the 25th.

Like I said, I'm sucker. Back when I was in college in Milwaukee, I'd go to the Brewers' Opening Day and all I can remember is freezing my ass off.

come on you got rid of your 2 biggest pains in the ass in Sosa and Farnsy!!!, but you didnt replace them with much!

I have mixed feelings on the Sox off season, im glad to Maglio gone but im not sure on how this new movement of theres is going to work. if they play as a team, then it should go well for them IMO

i still think farnsworth could have been a world class reliever if the managers could just use him right. when he comes out of the bullpen he is either hot or not. if he looks like shit with the first batter, you yank him. dont leave him in till they score 3 on him. but when he is hot, he is hot. oh well, he's the tigers problem now, i'm sure they wont use him right either.

Who cares about the Cubs, I know I don't heck if this was not my 600 post I would not even write this. I bet we at CLSB could form a decent team and beat them up any day!

I think they will do ok this year. They got rid of the home run ball, basically. Just switching to the "generative" type offense. Move runners and score, I like this aproach way better than living and dying by the long ball.

Well I think the cubs did good by getting rid of Sosa. I am not a Cubs fan but i think they will do ok with out him.

The Sox I think have a better chance to go farther than the Cubs if they play well as a team like Jim said earlier.
