bears preseason game 3

ok hutchinson sucked, tried to force to much, especially the passes to the tight ends. Orton looked better then hutchy but not as good as he did in weeks 1 and 2. kitner looked decent had some good passes but better then orton?? thats tuff.
blake??? eeek i hope it gets better!!!

adrian peterson looks good, think the bears should tell sedrick to go pound sand and run with what they got

bradley the WR is looking good though he dropped some easy ones but caught the hard ones go figure

love the hit by urlacher, even though it cost 15 yards, the point was made!!!

lets hope they arent stuck on hutchy and pick the best qb to start the season, right now i dont think its him

Nah Im old and decrepid,,,,but I sure miss the days of Gary Fencik, Lester hayes, Jack Ham, jack Lambert,,,,,when they would still play if they broke a nail or jambed a thumb.

This is gonna hurt!

I think the Bears have been stuck on Hutchinson and pretty much someone up top needs to make the point that he is not good. Orton should start, he has a lot more potential and honestly, the Bears Run and play D ... all they gotta do is throw some 5-10 yard slants and stops and hand the ball off. Let Orton get some experience -- hey lots of great QB's have fell through the cracks, Orton could be one of them. He was great at Purdue.

Urlacher played last year with internal bleeding and a hole in his leg. that probably didn't tickle.

I just got to watch the game last night on the NFL Network replay.

Hutchinson didn't look as bad as I thought from hearing all the reviews. He completed a few good passes, had a lot of zip on the ball and only held onto it too long a few times. One of the interceptions was not completely his fault as he threw a bullet to his most reliable receiver that was high, but Moose has made it clear that he expects to catch anything that hits him in the hands. For the negatives, Hutch didn't look comfortable in the pocket. He was bouncing around like a bunny on crack. He also made a couple of bad decisions about throwing into double and triple coverage. Overall, I'd say he looked rusty and anxious but still there is hope and potential that he could be at least serviceable as the Bears QB. Hutch gets a C and the Offense as a whole gets a B due to great play from the OLine and Peterson.

The defense looked really impressive. Especially the front four. Wale, Harris, Brown, Scott and Tank all seemed to be getting good pressure on Manning and disrupting the running lanes. Briggs and Urlacher were all over the field punishing people. The secondary looked a bit lost at times, but remember that the Colts and Manning can make any secondary look lost. I give the defense an A-.

I'd have to say that I'm more optimistic this week about the Bears chances of putting together a winning season than last week. Right now i'd say they are a 6-7 win team, but if Benson gets in camp and Hutch calms down a bit i'd say they could win as many as 9-10 games.
