Another reason Brett Favre is an A-hole

OK, so mr. ten million salary Favre tells mr. barely minimum salary ($312,000 last year ~$500,000 this year) Javon Walker that he should stop being selfish and end his hold out. So now Walker tears his ACL and is out for the season on the last year of his contract, which for a receiver pretty much means his career is over as you never come back with the same speed that you had before with a knee injury like this one.

He was one of the best receivers in the league last year and now he's probably lost the chance to be finacially stable for the rest of his life. I'm not saying he should've held out, but Brett had no business telling him that he should be ashamed of himself. Real easy for you to say moneybags.

I'm not saying that $500,000 is a small salary, but it's not even close to what he should've been making. And don't give me that sh*t that pro athletes are overpaid cause they are not when you think of the revenue they generate.

C'mon man! Farve has earned the right to say whatever the hell he wants to. I challenge you to find a modern day player with as much heart, or love for the game. Say what you want about the Packers...but the NFL would be a whole lot more fun to watch if there were teams of Farves running around killing themselves for that next first down.

I'd listen to a guy that hasn't missed a start in forever long before I'd listen to some of the other millionares out there running around looking for another sponsorship deal...

I dislike the pack, but you have to admit that Favre is a badass. Also, I'm sure, like most pro NFL players, Walker has a degree from somewhere. He can fall back on that right.

I hear FEMA is looking for qualified individuals....
