You won't believe this!!

Diane, my wife gets numerous freebie, from vendors who want to do business with the American Bar Association, today she got four (4). that's right 4tickets to the Sox's/Astro game Saturday. And because of BS ethics cannot accept them Which just annoys me all to hell, because of course I was going to immediatelyut them on eBay and get most likely anywhere 4 to 5 G's. which of course would pay for my airfare, hotel and bike rental in Hawaii, but NOOOOOOOOOO she's going to return the tickets.......personally I'm in the mood to take them out of her briefcase and play stupid

I did manage to score tickets for the Hawks vs Wings on the 29th

Dumbasses at MBNA, sent them to her office. the dumb fucks should of called her, asked what my name and address was and sent them to me, dumbasses, I'm cancelling all my MBNA credit cards, I'm soooooo pisssseddd

We have the same rule except in the case of entertainment. Any gifts over $100 we can't accept, but technically we could accept tickets since they fall under the SEC entertainment rules. However, we were asked to not accept them and stay extra safe.

I really don't understand this. I kind of understand why you would not except the tickets, but I don't understand how anyone would know that you recieved them. Does someone log what you recieve or keep track of what has been given away. I say steal those fuckers from your wifes briefcase and ebay yourself that vacation, she'll get over it once shes cruising around Maui.

OK, how does that work though, isn't that scalping (illegal)? Scalping outside the game, that I understand, its a risk you decide to take, but why does ebay even allow these actions, hows that legal?

Oh, sorry your got screwed rick, bummer.

I think as long as your only asking face value, its not scalping. People are bidding it up based on what they want to pay, not what youre demanding.

Well, the point Diane was making, they (ABA) pay her an obscene amount of money, and she has her reputation to think of, and she wasn't going to put either her reputation or her salary on the line to go to a game or some cash we really are desperate for. What she did, and it flew with the legal beagles at the ABA, was they had everyone put their name in a box, and raffled out the tickets, so the tickets didn't go to waste, and she made 4 of her employees very happy. There was only one stipulation on getting the ticket, you couldn't sell your ticket.

Then she turned around and gave me tickets to Hawaii, and will pay for my bike rental, so I will get to "earn" my Hawaii State sticker, for the bike. Next one after that will be Alaska, and I have the hardest ones done....eat your heart out Anna
