Hell yeah what a game.

Lately every game that I'd been able to sit down and watch the entire thing has ended in a bottom-of-the-9th homer to win it.

oooooooooohhh....jenks pissed me off big time!!! But thank god for being the home team and thank god pods was up
That was so exciting!!!!!!! YAY YAY YAY!!!

as much as it was a more tense game than last night's, it still made for great baseball. that slide into home in the top of the 9th was stellar, even if it was the stros.

Awesome game! The place was wild after Konerko's slam, and again after Podsednik's walk-off.

what I dont understand is that Pods had the ball in his glove and the Astros guy was still 2 steps before 3rd base and he still beat the throw home???? Hes got a rubber arm in left. He shouldve thrown that guy out by 4 steps

The throw was just off to the right of the catcher. If the throw was online a little more he would of been out.

The wifey forced me to watch the game with her But I was surprised how much I enjoyed it The grand slam was most excellent! The final home run, awesome way to add some excitement. The weather looked like it sucked, nice to sit at home in front of a roaring fire, listening to your wife scream like a lunatic at the TV I always thought watching baseball was watching paint dry, not last night! At a go Soxs!

Thats good to hear Rick glad you enjoyed it, for those not watching, your missing out. This is by far one of the better world series in a while, with 2 teams that are extremly equally matched, each inning is a nail biter!!

the runner was good though in throwing his hand out to tap home. just the right combination of things got that run in. but if he was tagged out-- OOOH what a great play that would have been!

I absolutly hate baseball since it is usually so boring, but I found myself getting into it last night. I remeber when they got thier third guy on base, I was siting there saying to my wife, "a grand slam would be fuggin awesome right about now". Then BAM! sure enough, I was like Fuq Ya!

I never in my life thought I would get excited by a baseball game, but now I'm hooked.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I'm suprised nobody mentioned the hit batter that helped load the bases prior to the GS. That ball definitley hit the bat and not his arm, but what the ump calls is what is played.

I hope they never add instant replay to baseball...
