I just don't think the bears have the offense to get to the super bowl, certainly not yet. They've had a good year so far, great defense, but lackluster offense. If they can snag a few good offense players and keep the defense intaked they'll definately have a team next year.

Hate to say it, but that Defense is going to run all over Green Bay. Green Bay can't move the ball against crappy D, Bears are going to have a field day with that paper mache front line of theirs.

Manning would light up the secondary. The Bears wouldn't stand a chance against a real team. I am a Bears fan by the way, but I know a ass wooping when I see it!

Ditka versus a hurricane, but the hurricane's name is Ditka...

On Quite Frankly With Stephen A. Smith, Eddie George said he thinks the Bears will be in the Super Bowl. He went on record as saying...

to win in the post season you need defense, special teams, and be able to run the ball. The Bears have all that.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Tony and Mike you two sharing a crack pipe now? Although the Bears are having a great season. I think Grover is right, they don't have the offense to pull it off And the wife can't believe I have actually watched the last 3 games with her, without whining or falling asleep.....yes I'm building my "good husband points" for the Brutale

The bears defense has what it takes, heck they are doing better than the 85 bears on points allowed. offense is getting better by the day. I think they will make it or get very close. remember about this time in the season noone thought the sox would be at the world series either.

Now if by some stroke of luck we do make it there and go up against the colts I am going to have a serious issue. cause I am a huge fan of manning, he has go tto be one of the best quarterbacks I have seen in many many years and I have been routing him to a supperbowl for a while now, he's finnaly gonna get hios chance this year and I couldnt be happier for him.

OK, reality check now. I think this team is like the 84 Bears. A good team still learning/finding it's way. I still think Orton needs to get better before they could get to the Super Bowl. Even if they do make it there, the Colts look VERY GOOD and this could be their year. HOWEVER, Peyton Manning has never won anything. Tennessee won the Championship the year AFTER he left with Tee Martin as the quarterback. I like Manning also, but until he wins it all, I won't look at him as a "winner" like Joe Montana, Tom Brady.

One thing all this winning is doing is giving Orton a chance to learn as a quarterback. Chicago fans are pretty rabid, if the team isn't winning, they are very vocal about wanting personnel changes (at the stadium and in the press), which has resulted in the mess Chicago has had at the quarterback position over the last 10 or so years. A great quarterback isn't going to win without receivers (ie..Green Bay). If the team keeps winning and they hold onto Orton as well as pick up a few receivers, they'll have a real shot next season.

I'm looking for one playoff win. Anything more than that is a big bonus. If they get stomped in the first round, it will be a let down
