Really surprised that the front office did this, that's a HUGE chunk of cash for them to spend. It's also a lot for Konerko imho, but he does have some big things that he brings to a team......Good on him

Well I don't know about that. The Angels where offering more and that is real close to his home in Arizona. Also Baltimore offered him alot more than the White Sox money wise and he turned that down. He got fare market value. If would have asked for 15 million a year than yeah I would agree with you.
