Bears Playoff Picture
Here's the scenarios for the Bears now that the playoffs are set.
NFC Wild Card Games:
4:30 p.m. on ABC -- 6. Washington (10-6) at 3. Tampa Bay (11-5)
1:00 p.m. on FOX -- 5. Carolina (11-5) at 4. N.Y. Giants (11-5)
The Bears will play the highest seeded team left after the wild card matchups so if Tampa Bay wins, then we play them. If Washington wins then we will play the winner of the Carolina-Giants game. No matter who it is, the game will be played in Chicago.
In our second playoff game (if we win our first), we will play the winner of the Seattle-(Washington/Carolina/Giants) game. That game will be for the NFC championship and the winner will go on to the Super Bowl. If Seattle wins, then we go there, otherwise the game will be in Chicago.
I'm glad we don't have to face Washington right now. I personally think they are a very dangerous team that is built well. I like the matchup agianst either TB, Carolina or the Giants. We have already beaten TB and Carolina and the Giants are not a good road team. If we have to face Seattle on the road (very likely), it will be a tough game but I think pretty evenly matched. Seattle would probably be favored by 3-6 points.
