Marcus Vick Arrested...

...and joins Maurice Clarette as possibly the biggest clown bag in current sports

Vick Arrested

...between the two of them they probably threw away $30 million dollars

...Ryan Leaf would join that list had he not at least made it into the NFL before going clown bag...

Yeah, no NFL team but the Raiders will take him. Even then, he'd be late in the draft. Unpredicatable and unprofessional in college ball? No way in hell they'd put up with him in pro. And to think..20 kids DIDN'T get scholarships because he got one..and threw it away.

I'm not up on the other guys mentioned.

I don't think Maurice would've ever been pro, i just don't think he had enough talent. If Vick did pull a gun he's a grade A dumbass.

This is what pisses me off the most. Only in America do idiots like this get a chance. Where else can someone like Mike Tyson make over 200 mil and beg for scraps years later. I don't feel sorry for these guys at all. I wish we were harsher to folks like this here, give them the boot early, and never let them get in the game again. Other notables, Dennis Rodman, Terrel Owens, Ron Artest, and many others. I don't care if these guys have all of the talent in the world. It means nothing if they aren't decent human beings, and I know all sports would be better off with these guys far removed from the arena.

And lest we forget Kellen Winslow, Jr. and the kid from the Bulls with his crash a few years back. Not that they were engaged in criminal activity but, they may have blown their careers.

As bad as it is, some NFL team will give him a chance because of his physical abilty and "potential".

That's why I said the Raiders..cause you can't buy this type of publicity, and that type of stuff sells merchandise...the REAL moneymaker in professional sports. Raiders have a bunch of other teams rejects, so he'll fit right in.

Yes, Jay Williams was the guy that wrecked his R-6 prior to the season. Thank you, Sir!

I just saw the highlight from his recent bowl game, where he stomped the calf of an opposing defender after being tackled from behind! What a nutcase! And I'm with Grover. The Raiders will take Vick and Clarette in a second, well maybe not Clarette. He's going to be preoccupied for a while.

it's all part of the capitalistic machine, controversy="personality"=sales. Our society idolizes goons, we reep what we sow.

To be honest, i didn't get the hype anyways...here's a guy that most acknowledge does not have the physical abilities of his older brother...still a great player, but not quite as good as Michael...depite that, the guy has a free ride cuz of his last name and instead of taking advantage of that benefit he throws it away because he "expected" the royal treatment...Kellen Winslow Jr was the same way...all the talent in the world but it went to his head...i agree with you guys, don't feel sorry for him at all.

BTW, the circumstance around the case involves three teenagers at a McDonald's in Virginia razzing Vick for getting kicked off the team, etc...so the idiot pulled a gun on 'em...nice job taking a mature approach to a self-inflicted problem
