yeah, but the article also says:

If rehabilitation goes well, Palmer could be running in a couple months and might be able to play in the first regular-season game, Paulos said. The 2006 schedule hasn't been set.

I think he will come back but he won't be the same. Very bad break. He is a good quarterback. I find it hard to beleive that he will be ready for the preseason if even the start of next season.

yup...sounds like the team is trying to get the doc to recant some of what he said...pretty hard to take "the tendon is shredded" out of context

...i'm pulling for him, there are so few good quarterbacks in today's NFL...it would suck to see one of the best go down for good.

Yes, the Bengals finally start to turn things around and this happens. Sorry, I just happen to be a Bengals fan.
