The 2006 World Cup...The Greatest Sporting Event In The World

Well guys it's almost here. I have been waiting for this all spring and summer and tomorrow the 2006 world cup begins play in germany. The USA team has reported having bags of urine and blood being thrown at them during yesterday's practice. Local germans were heard chanting "Barry Bonds!" to the players as they were practicing. There are ALOT of great story lines behind this world cup. Can the USA fight through all the hatred and prove doubters wrong? Will Ronaldo lead the heavily favored Brazilians to yet another world cup? Will crisitiano ronaldo be able to take portugal to the next level? Will this be Zindane's last world cup for france? Is beckham going to show that England's style came compete with the brazilians? I for one can't wait too see how this tournament plays out. We all know who will win though

Like 2003 bro...LOL..It's all good dude....I havent been watching GP like I should be...I turned it on the other day and I was like "*ucking rossi is soooo far back!"....Real Madrid is STACKED now ronaldo, robinho, beckham, zindane, cincinho, carlos diogo, roberto carlos, raul bravo

I cant believe barca won the championship though. Ronaldinho is just pure insanity. Real Madrid doesnt have the money to sign him now but he is so *ucking good. He's the reason madrid didnt win the championship.

you're talking about CRISTIANO Ronaldo...He's from portugal. He's probably going to claim the title of "world's best player" in the next 3 or 4 years. He has dribbling skills that rival ronaldinho...that kid is *ucking sick

hmmm it just so happens argentina is in the easiest bracket...Netherlands and ivory coast?! they will get destroyed in the later part of the tourney when they're playing teams like portugal, france, england, brazil, italy. They cant compete with the heavy hitters.

Yup Brazil has probably the best lineup in world cup history. They pretty much have 3-4 of the top 10 players in the world

Dida=AMAZING goal keeper...Never lets his nerves get to him

Cafu=One of the best defenders in brazils history.

Cicinho=Young defender who will make a HUGE impact...Trust me

Ronaldo=I dont care if his knee/hip has been bothering him...Possibly the greatest striker in soccer history

Ronaldinho=Unless you live in a cave you know he's basically the greatest player to ever play the sport. Yeah I said it and so did Pele'. Nuff said

Robinho=Small dude but comes from a winning club (real madrid). Has more heart than anyone in the tournament.

Adriano=Probably the greatest brazilian striker playing in italy right now. He has a lethal penalty shot too.

This team is insane
