All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

ok serious, I think Rex is gonna be in most of the year. I really think his last injuries were flukes and he will look pretty good the whole season.

Prediction in print as of now, "the bears will start 1 (one) quarterback for all 16 regular season games."

2006-2007 Bears Record 10-6

Whoever is our Qb by week 8 or 9 I sure hope we are talking about winning games. As much as I like Rex I wanna see him deal with good competition which he should get from Brian Griese. We still need some help at WR as well as MAJOR help at TE if we wanna be serious about going beyond 1st round of playoffs.

Wow, tough question. I really think its a 50/50 between Rex and Griese. I think they are about equal as far as ability, but Rex has more potential while Griese has more experience. Rex also has the injury plague but he also has the support of the franchise. I give the slightest of nods to Rex.

Rex will go down in game 2 or 3 and it'll be Orton's season all over again.

The biggest difference IMO is that Rex is "developing" while Griese has already peaked in his abilities and if anything is on the downslope...the general age of the team and the direction they seem to be heading almost dictates that Rex be QB...i think he'll get the nod regardless of the preseason goings on....of course in season, winning is everything so the leash may be a short one.

Talent-wise, Rex Grossman is the best QB on the club. There's a reason Griese can't stick with a team (aside from getting drunk and falling over sleeping dogs). He's a solid backup/spot starter.

Orton can be a good QB in time, but he was the worse starting QB in the league statistically last year. They had to dumb-down the offense for him and he isn't/wasn't used to playing under center. He was rushed into starting too soon so it's not entirely his fault.

If Rex could stay healthy, I think they'll be OK and make the playoffs. If he does goes down, I have a lot of confidence in Griese. He was a great pickup!

I just came back from Vegas and the Bears are 12-1 odds to win the Superbowl.

I can't wait for football season!!!!

Thats why I think there is a VERY good chance that Griese will play this year. The window for the Bears is not very long and they have to make a strong SB run this year. They can't let Rex develop long if he struggles.
