I'm glad they jumped out to a big lead early cuz I wanted to watch the MotoGP race at 4:00 Kept jumping back during commercials and every time I checked back it seemed like they scored again!

They are looking good. Lets hope they keep it up all season but even if they don't, spanking the Cheese Heads makes it a winning season already!

If you though it was a good game, don't bother reading Monday Morning QB on SI.com by Peter King. I missed 1/2 the game and wanted to catch up. The only mention of the Bear's was a quote by Brett Favre. All the other winning teams got at least a paragraph. Talk about not getting any respect. What a tool.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

its always like that, Bears never get any respect
edit: I'm watching sportscenter monday night kickoff and they mentioned Farve being shutout the first time and not how good the bears did BS!!

I think Peter King picked Detroit to win the NFC North. So he's just covering his ass IMO. Detroit's defense looked good yesterday but their O is still not going to be able to put up enough points against us.

The press seems to only respect teams with high-octane offenses. None of the defensive powerhouses get respect. All the pundits picked Miami to beat Pittsburgh once Rothlisberger went out. Look how that turned out. There are too many ex-offensive players and coaches working as commentators and analysts. The betting line is always a better sign of respect IMO as it shows opinions people are actually backing with their $$$$$$.

Besides, it's better the Bears don't get the respect. It keeps the players hungry and angry. That's the best way to play football!
