Cool vid!

He is a master slewfooter, and his "kick" before release on his shots really freezes goalies.....never works for me though cuz my release isnt quick enough

"When in doubt, use full throttle. It may not improve your situation, but it will end the suspense."

Coming from a goalie the "kick" only works when you shoot right after. We'll flinch/tense to make a save then relax again, when you shoot as we're relaxing we don't have any strength to move. If you "kick" then skate some more and make a move it's useless unless the goalie bites HARD on the kick. Though Alex and Sidney are great nothing beats a good glove save http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2700N...elated&search=

OMG, did anyone see Ovechkin smash the guy through the glass last night?

That guy is going to be great. He can score and he can deliver punishing hits. Exciting to watch. I wonder why they are spending so much time on that other guy when Ovechkin is way better.

That kid is awesome. Its incredible how many brilliant kids there are now..and they arent just good..they are so way past good skillwise. That Malkin kid...sheeeit..Crosby..Staal...just ridiculous skills...some of the goals this year have been amazing. The new NHL without someone draped over you helps a great deal as well.

I have to agree with you. I wasn't a fan at first, but the new NHL is very exciting to watch. Some of those kids are amazing. When I saw Havlat stick handle through about 4 guys then make an incredible pass to Lapoint, I was amazed. Now if we could get more games on TV, the fans would come back.
