I live in Grayslake and hear shots all the time (nearby gun range).

What I don't understand is that they had a search warrant for drugs but was prompted by neighbors complaining about gunshots. Prolly boned some cops wife.

I think the dude they arrested had the smack. Oh, well, a misdemeanor amount of homegrown and 6 burners off the street. I'm resting quietly tonight.

his neighbors perhaps. sounds like he may have been shooting into the forest preserve behind his yard

Im hearing rumors that this probably violates his (insert correct term here-probation?) for a weapons violation a while back and he may be taken to jail immediately if it does.

Just amazing how some of these guys are habitual offenders of making poor decisions (if this pans out the way its looking now)

Yep, it seems that NFL players are the worse with this out of all the sports. Every week a player from Cincinnati gets arrested. I remember a show on ESPN called "Playmakers" The NFL pissed and moaned about the image it gave off about the league, and that it was fake, and not a true picture of the NFL, when in reality, it was an exact depiction of the NFL.

Why did they even go to his home? Why did they assume or know he had illegal guns? What was the purpose or reasoning for the warrant? Some details are missing, something is fishy?

I wonder if any of those cops are bears fans.

they went in this afternoon when he was NOT there - seems as though that was intentional. They did arrest another guy in his house, presumably the one who got the Pot charge too.

Reports are that neighbors heard shooting in his backyard which would be a tip off. He IS NOT suppose to own guns as a result of his firearms probabtion.

This is all hearsay that Im picking up on ESPN radio - yes, I hate Boers and Bernstein too

If he only lived in Chicago, that would be guaranteed. Look at the R. Kelly trial, yes, it is still ongoing . Actually, the Bears could have a dynasty before he would be tried in Chicago

It'd unlikely Tank faces the music this season. Most likely trial won't happen until after the Super Bowl and the NFL won't react until after the trial. The only thing that could throw a monkey wrench into this is Tank's priors and the fact that guns and drugs are involved. (Along with six caged pitbulls from what I heard).

I'm more worried that this is going to get in Tank's head and he is going to start playing like crap again. He has looked pretty bad at time in the past and didn't look explosive against St. Louis. We need him at 100% to help cover for the loss of Tommie Harris.

Injuries and Drama.........They kill super bowl runs like Rosanne kills morning wood!
