Fantasy Football?

Anyone here into fantasy football? Anyone want to do a CLSB FF league?
Its early, but just throwing it out there to see who's interested.

Already in one, and doing two can be difficult...there's just not enough players to go 'round. I always end up rooting against myself so to speak in sharing players on my team or on opposing teams between the two leagues.

Yup, I was in two last year and you can end up rooting for and against the same player. haha

Also, like Paladin said, anything more then 12 teams in a league is hard to do because if you lose a guy or he sucks, there is no one to pick up on waivers/free agent that is halfway decent.

fantasy bowl dot com has a very simple league to set up. I think it is 10 bucks a player I can set up a custom clsb league if I get 5 replies I will start it.

Check it out very low maintenance league.

Is $10 the fee for fantasy bowl or is that to go to prize money? I can't check "fantasy" sites at work.

I am not sure because my teams always suck I played in trophy leagues and I don't have the attention span to read through every thing. I would set up a custom league for 79 dollars after that I lose interest in reading.

Just a suggestion, we can have teams like five guys to one team, up the stakes a little, go to a bar or somewhere and have a draft, though we need a lot of guys the stakes could be huge, I know of one where its 5gs a team. Just throwing it out there, I'm in though it has to be worth my time if we do it.

Basically, what you are is an owner. You draft, trade or pick up players for your team, NFL football players, who you think will do well this year at these positions (WR, RB, QB, TE, K, Defense.)

Then the guys you assembled get you points based on their performance (TDs, rushing yards, passing yards, etc) and you go against another person's team and their players. The team that scores more points that weekend wins.

There are other subtleties to it but that's the main idea behind it. It also makes watching games you would have no interest in otherwise, interesting. Like a game between Tampa Bay and Detroit in week 15 when both teams are completely out of the playoffs but you have Cadillac Williams on your fantasy team so you hope he does well.

i'm probably down for playing. i'm in one league at work right now, but i could pick up another. my work schedule can be a bit tricky for the draft, but i can probably work something out. if we play on foxsports.com, it's free. we can set up an entrance fee at that point. we usually play 1st and 2nd win a few bucks and 3rd gets their money back.

on a side note, the best first pick is the bucs d!

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

Okay I set up a league for us There are 10 teams. 9 now with mine there was a 79 dollar fee so that is 10 bucks per team. You will pay it to me. First 9 people that pm me I will send you the info to pick a team.

This is a very good league if you never played before and want to give it a try. If you want to do something on the side we can meet and discuss it.

Basically it is just for smack talking.

First ones in will get a team.
