there was no backdooring. The Cubs were in first place for the entire last month of the season. I think they fell back by a game or a game and a half behind for maybe a few days. And that was a few weeks before the end of the season. They were in sole possession of 1st place for the last 2 weeks.

Plus who said we'll have to wait till the end of the playoffs? All you guys are gonna do is wait till you lose and say "ohhh we made it this far, bla bla" Good job on 12th place guys, your an all star team

only a real cubs fan could imagine giving your losing team a happy ending. 99 years of that gives you good practice at least. This year though you might wanna tug extra hard since they at least gave you false hopes.

plus u sure get PMS'y about the cubs when you dont care about baseball

as much as it pains me to agree with you, you have a valid point.

But then again if the cubs are the best sports team this city has then we really should just give up all hope in sports forever
