Nick, don't tell me that's a self portait.

WTF. Did it get caught in the glove, or on the goal.
Or
In someone's teeth.

Maybe not a wedding ring being that it is his middle finger on his right hand.
My old foreman had lost his ring finger completely when he fell from a metal ladder (think rungs attached to the outside of a large tank) and then tried to catch himself. The ring caught and sheered his finger clean off. Forced a new plant policy, no jewlery what so ever could be worn on site.

That is exactly why I never wear a wedding ring at work. Or at least that's what I tell her.

That happened to a guy I used to race sailboats with. The ring got snagged on a shackle and yanked the tip of his finger off. Unfortunately, it went over the side with the ring. Lots O Blood. Yuck...

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
