Bears

What a suck fest. Oakland would have a tough time against LSU

..and for the record, if Hester did indeed say he's "insulted" when teams kick to him, I'll be rooting for continued negative punt returns...

10 pics in 5 games from Greise and we're still on Grossman...although I agree, I laughed out loud when it happened.

The Bears, like much of the NFL, are just bad at football.

I much rather see Rex although he should be in the gun every play. I've never seen a team drop so many snaps.

Hester almost scored two points for Oakland on that last return.....

hey the long ball is back.... nice throw Rex.

Really never understood the point of leaving a 30+ career second string QB that stinks in the game when you have two young QB's that stink on the bench. At least there's some potential upside with the younger dudes

Here's to a Raider victory, if only for some quality sports talk radio tomorrow

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

Grossman throws a touchdown and everyone goes ape shit. Big deal. One damn touchdown. It is about as eventful as hearing a 1yr old took their first steps.........isn't that what they are suppose to do
Now if he came in the game and threw 4 touchdowns in a quarter I would be impressed. Throwing one, big deal.

He has been playing decently today. He hasn't impressed me just yet. Still not well though. The only good thing he did was the 59 yard pass to Berrian. Defense finishes strong today.

No not yet. It is just so frustrating watching the Bears at times. We have such talent on the team scattered all about but we just can't get it together. As for quarterbacks...we never have a superstar. The last one was when we won the superbowl and was as fragile as glass. I want a clone of Farve for Chicago! How good would it be to brag that we have a kickass quarterback.

The Bears do not, in fact, have very much talent on their team, specifically on Offense

...and would you be happier with 3 yard passes for the entire game from Greise. They both suck, but at least Grossman takes a damn chance every now and again, and has the arm to throw an NFL deep ball. I really couldn't care less, the Bears suck and I'll be rooting for embarrassing losses for the remainder of the season (unless they can string together enough wins for a playoff run...7-9 seasons are the absolute worst). Neither one of these quarterbacks are going to take the Bears anywhere on their arms.

Okay, I'll stop here, but to see such Bear hating, supposed fans (not even sure a lot of you can be called a fan) pisses me off.

A lifetime of mediocrity and terrible play will do that to ya. If they are going to suck, they might as well suck all the way to a sweet 4-12 year...as I mentioned before there is nothing worse than a 7-9 season. The best part about a Bear loss, is the idiot fans you so fondly mention above calling into the talk radio shows...it's absolutely priceless I had the chance to listen to Mike North spout off for an hour last Monday about how Hester should take the snaps from a punt formation

...oh yeah, and I officially don't like Devin Hester anymore

...congratulations on tip toeing by one of the worst teams in the history of the NFL. If you're excited about a 17-6 win over the Raiders (losing to them with 5 mins to play), who are just bad at football, then you're in for a long season. The Bears are absolutely terrible this season.

GO HAWKS!!

Oh I hear ya brotha. That's why I love guys like Tomlinson and Dallas Clark, but at least 3/4' of that 4/5's does it for the most part on the field. For Hester to go on record before the game as saying he's "insulted" when a team kicks to him was just above and beyond stupid. And then he got it shoved right up his ass today

Hester did have that one 63 yard return today, but it got called back because of holding.

I never did see if that hold had anything to do with it...outside of that return, he was pretty bad today. At least he didn't fumble though, that's one of his only flaws thus far.
