So long Barry!

"During the criminal investigation, evidence was obtained including positive tests for the presence of anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances for Bonds and other athletes,"

Hopefully this cheater and now proven liar is banned from baseball, never allowed into the hall of fame!

They banned Pete Rose for less!

I doubt he will do any prison time either.

But I would think an indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice and evidence of positive steroid tests will keep him out of the HOF and pretty much make his records worthless.

I hate being happy about someone elses misfortune, but he's a blatant cheater with a bad attitude. Hard to feel any sympathy for him

Ummm, so is the steroids stuff...now. Rose's infraction was deemed so notorious because it affected on field play. Why is obliterating the record books with a genetically altered body made possible by illegal activities not the same again?

Oh, and because he denied it, again and again.

Well, maybe him and OJ can be bunkmates.

on second thought, scratch that idea. OJ will do time, but not Bonds, he'll just pay fines and walk. What MLB does to him and his hall of fame status is another ball of wax.

They are both first class Jags. Bonds was juicing while it was not against the rules at the time and he most likely switched to HGH after steroid testing came out.

Baseball clubhouses up until last year were filled with greenies for the players. Coffee pots were marked not for decaf but because it had amphetamines in it. Steve Howe was busted for cocaine possession seven times and still allowed to play. I was just pointing out that baseball has always looked away from drugs. You can not tell me Sosa and MacGuire were not juiced.

I am so happy that he is being charged with perjury because the damn Bo-Ya ESPN network has always had the stance that he was never caught, so he must not have done it.

This comment always upsets me. Sure, steroids weren't regulated out of basebal...BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL PERIOD!!!! Does baseball have to make a rule that says armed robbery, rape and murder are against regulations as well for people to know they are not supposed to be doing it??????

...and I'd say amphetamines are a far cry from steroids and HGH. Not even the same ballpark, though not saying they are right either.

I would say that what Bonds did is far, far worse than what Pete Rose did. Like I said, Rose is held with such disregard by many reporters because he denied the allegations in the face of such evidence forever...Bonds has done the same thing yet they kiss his ass. It's quite disgusting, and hopefully now over.
