College Football vs. NFL

You know I never gave a crap about College FB until I went to College, but since then Saturdays have been as good a sports day as Sundays! Especially in recent years, as the quality of entertainment on the top level has seemed to really dwindle. The rule changes and widespread poor play in the NFL have left us with 3 1/2 hour often very dull games. Not that there aren't plenty of bad College games, but the feel of the NCAA game seems to have so much more energy and entertainment value.

..and...........I-L-L!!!

Tom, you are just pissed at the Bears for being shitty this year. I need Gixx to back me up and get on you for being a shitty Bears fan again . On a serious note, the college season has been very good this year. The competition is insane this year. It is even tough to rank teams, because each week it is almost impossible to tell who is going to win, unless a team is playing Notre Dame .

this is the first year I ever really watched college football and it's a lot better than the NFL. My theory is that there's 7 games on at a time so you can always find an exciting game. Not like you're stuck with Buffalo/Miami as the afternoon game. It's a good way to spend a Saturday.

The Bears are terrible, and I enjoy watching a suck fest as much as a quality team

...I'm talking more about the other games. Sunday and Monday night football and the other afternoon games on Sunday. I just don't care as much because there are sooo many BAD teams. The Bears, Raiders, Titans, 49ers, Ravens, Jets, Cardinals, Vikings, Panthers, Dolphins, etc. I mean they are AWFUL and difficult to watch. I've gotten much more enjoyment out of the College games this year as a whole. Obviously the play in College is nowhere near the level of the NFL...but the College game seems to have more pure competition whereas the NFL's attempt at "parody" has left it with more than half the league just being bad.

Its like SBK vs GP - They trade off in "likes" for me

Bug is right, the Bears need to rebuild the team completely, just like Honda does with their bikes, starting with offense.

This year, the NFL has slacked, you used to not be able to leave the couch all Sunday. Now, men may actually go to church again .
