that was the weakest home run I ever saw off of Marmol yesterday. Quinten looked like he just flicked the bat and it just carried out. I'm gonna pay for all that shit I talked at work after the first series

Nothing gained? Dude, fans got to watch their team sweep their greatest rival in their own yard, and now it's back to 33/33 for each team! Granted, nobody gets bragging rights, but after those 6 games they just proved who the best city in baseball is

I'm pretty sure the city would be burnt to the ground before the end of the WS if that happened.

Suburbs FTW!

By the way, I just looked at it, and Sox scored 32 runs in the 6 games, and the Cubbies scored 31! I'm not saying that to gloat for the Sox, I just think that the two first place teams who swept each other in their own stadiums and scored nearly identical runs deserve a big for putting on such a good show for Chicago!

Politics. You give 3, we'll give 3. The Cubs could have taken those games but chose not too

And who built Sox park? They sold old yesterday and I think they said the number was 39,573. Why an odd number like that? Is there standing only tickets too?

They built the stadium to size spec and added however many seats fit afterward.

Then as they have progressed over the years they have added some and taken some seats out.

down both lines they added seats - less foul territory in the OF. they took some seats out for the patio in RF and the home bullpen in LF.

They changed the configuration of the seats right behind home plate to create what is now referred to as the scout seats, which resulted in a few seats being lost.

I think they took some seats out for the Stadium club down the right field line?

It's a 40,000 person capacity stadium, give or take a few hundred.

How is it any less personal than wrigley?

Outfield shower, fundamentals deck, pitch speed locations, lots of shops on the concourse.

Is there anything to do besides get drunk at Wrigley?

Or by 'personal' do you mean something about the guy next to you being on your lap?
