MLS All-Stars versus West Ham tonight

On ESPN tonight at (I think) 6PM. The MLS All-Start team will take on West Ham for bragging rights. Will be the first time you see Donovon, Blanco, and Beckham all playing on the same field for the same team. Should be a good game, assuming the West Ham fans don't start another fist fight.

Should be a good game to watch, although I am really not a fan of Blanco. I've never seen a player whine nearly as much as that guy does. Sadly I see this problem with a lot of foreign teams and unfortunatly it's become part of the game. Whatever happened to just playing hard and not going down unless you're broken or bleeding??

You going anywhere to watch the game or just in the comfort of your own couch?

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Didn't watch it, but from what I heard on the highlights, the Fires own Temo Blanco had a good showing in the All Stars 3-2 victory. Spot on!

Yeah, he and Beckham had some GREAT plays, both of those players are excellent at feeding the ball up to strikers, the first US goal was awesome. Check it @ 1:00. Beckham, to Blanco who flicks it backwards to Gomez. Sweet.

Both teams played as aggresive as can be expected for a non-league freindly game, although bragging rights are on the table as the MLS try to gain more respect throughout the world. It's amazing how the players gelled out on the pitch with only in practice. Take that many gifted players and put them together and it makes for a great game.

Blanco's assist and go-ahead goal in the first half helped him win the MVP: http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/news?slu...v=st&type=lgns

Good video! A couple of really good saves by both goal keepers.
Really good sequence from Beckham to Blanco to Gomez.
Gomez looked good too.

Bragging rights? The best of the MLS vs a mid-table EPL club? Who on West Ham has any real quality??? Ashton maybe. Ferdinand? meh. Ljungberg a few years ago.

Beckham has never even been the best player on any club he's been on until he joined the Galaxy. Donovan can't cut it in Europe. Watching the average MLS match makes me want to stab myself in the eyes compared to any of the UEFA leagues.

I watched most of the first half. Tolerable for an exhibition. Did WHU even play their choice XI? The marking on Blanco's goal was atrocious.

Want to see whiners? Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba. Divers. Falling over at the slightest touch then throwing up their hands when they don't get a foul called. Both immensely talented though to say the least when they're not trying to draw petty fouls.
