Biggest series of the year so far. Cubs aren't playing their best baseball right now. I wouldn't cry over a split. Anything more is a bonus

Who knows it's the cubs. All I know is I'm kicking myself for passing on a couple spots in a box at Miller Park. Stupid basement project taking all my time....

I'm hoping they'll take 2 with a loss tonight to Sabathia. If they do better, God Bless.

only not railing you because you said so far but even under those pretenses i still say 'so far' the biggest series of the year is the season ending series with Milwaukee @ Milwaukee. Even with not being played yet it's still the most important series with the records the way they are. It only loses significance if one team can't catch the other.

He needs to pitch more than five innings before people start complaining about no run support. Two of his three starts were less than 5.2 innings which hurts the bull pen especially with wood being out on the DL. Sumarga has helped though and looks good so far.

You hold them to a run or 2 over 5 and strike out 10 you should be able to be in line for the W and hand off to your bullpen with some semblance of confidence. If you can't do that you shouldn't be talking about the WS.

way to go cubs, putting some distance on Milwaukee, it's going to be a tight race all the way to the finish. Milwaukee might have faltered against the cubs, but St. Louis did pretty well to stay right in the race. Alot of baseball left to be played...
