Sox win. 5-3

man I had a lot of doubt but I am happy to see they get another game.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

We could already talk smack about 08. Regardless of what happened. The cubs exit just makes it better.

going into the season the cubs were favored to take.....everything. They were said to have had such a good offense, such a good defense. blah blah blah. they will take the show, easily.

The sox were projected to take 4th in their division, AT BEST.

Then they have quentin and alexi as huge pieces of their team. Players that weren't even supposed to be on the team out of spring training.

Then they have all the injuries.

They still scraped into the post season. With zero expectations from anyone outside of the Comiskey neighborhood.

Regardless of what happened in the post season, just being there was so far and beyond what the Sox were supposed to do its enough for the ozzy haters to go sit with Jay Marioti and blow each other.

Did anyone see the piece on ESPN.com by Gene Wojciechowski just ripping the Cubs?

Not gonna lie, I like reading pieces like this. They make me giggle like a school girl. But lets be honest this same guy was probably way up their ass just 2 weeks ago.

LET'S GO WHITE SOX!!!

....got lucky and scored tickets to the tie breaker last Tuesday and the ALDS game 3 yesterday, without a doubt the two most exciting and intense games I've attended (I was not lucky or cleaver enough to get to any of the playoff or W.S. games in '05).

What they (Sox) have accomplished this year is awesome! Now let's just go undefeated at home!...just wish the game wasn't at 4:00 PM today...darn work!
