will the bears make the playoffs?

Do people think the bears will make the playoffs? With 5 games to play, and a critical game this sunday against the Vikings, do the Chicago Bears have what it takes to make it to the post season?

What do they have to do right to make it? or What are they doing wrong that will prevent them from making it?

IMHO I think the bears will make it. Even if we lose to Minnesota next week, we have Jacksonville, New Orleans, Texas and Green bay left to play. The first three we should win, with Jacksonville and New Orleans having to play us outside in the cold, and Texas at 3-8 shouldn't be difficult.

Thoughts?

No to playoffs.
I love the Bears but if they do, they will limp in and be quickly ousted. The defense needs to wakes up and its clear Hester is not the best kickoff/punt returner on this team right now.
I don't take the Rams game seriously as the Rams are a very bad team that was without quite a few starters. That game served to inflate the stats.

I think the offense is good enough to win, but the defense is getting outplayed virtually every game.

EDIT. If N.O. put up 51 to a defense that the Bears could only manage 3 points to, that is not looking good for the beloved Bears.

Da Bears!

if they can win against the vikings i think they will have a fair shot of making it. before the season started i was guessing 8-8 season so anything above that is great. the better we do now we are only loosing good draft pics so we better make the playoffs to make things worth it. i am not holding my breat for them to go anywhere in the playoff this year.

There D-fence really hasn't been there most of the season, besides last week. And in my opinion they aren't consistent.

You wanna see my itinerary?

I agree. Looking at the remaining schedule, with Green Bay's lose, if we can beat Minnesota we will have the inside track with 4 games to play.

The sad part is that the NFC north is the weakest division and the bears probably won't fare well in the post season. But I do think we will make it.

The Bears should be able to make the playoffs but the NFC is looking kinda strong for them to really make it past the first round. I hope they should clinch the divison but with Green Bay with a weak regular season left too, it's hard to say. For both teams I think it comes down to when they meet up again in the windy city..

I think the bears will make it. I think will only win 1 more game. Gb has the easiest schedule. And the Bears schedule is pretty easy expect for GB..
