A friend of a friend who owed a friend a favor who owed me a favor and that friend repayed that favor to another friend who repayed his owed favor to me!

I am at section 415 2 rows up. Supposedly some of the best seating area for view. Right off the blue line closest to 3rd base! I am stoked!

nice kelly...my buddys had the tickets, and decided to sell them off for a grand...they r season ticket holders so they said the hell with it, lets get cash back for it...besides we r gonna be so ripped on NYE that none of us are going to be up for going to watch the game...so we will be in the comfort of our homes nice and warm and drinking and stuffing our faces...if i was going i sure as shit would meet up with ya to have a few beers buddy...but have fun...outside games are the best...unless its shitty weather...so pay attention to the weather...

GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!

fuck the redwings...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Oh i hear you brother!! Just out of curiousity i checked stub hub and then a broker to BUY tickets in my section and they are selling for 2 grand each!! I was like WTF???

I figured this could be a once in a lifetime deal seeing the Hawks in a winter classic...OUTDOORS...and especially the Redwings and quite honestly we potentially could be playing for first place! All the better.......

I cant wait!!!!!

Holy Crap! $2k per ticket! ....as bad as I would like to see this game I would probably have to sell them...then I'd go to a bunch of home games to make myself feel good about it. .....9 game winning streak, woo hoo!....LET'S GO HAWKS!

...have fun at the game, hopefully the weather will be good ...for sure a once in a lifetime event

I could not find tix for less than $350.00 a piece - I had (4) reserved but after the Holidays and lack of commission checks since July, I had to pass

Enjoy Mate and GO WINGS!!!!!!

Side bar - ran the numbers while at lunch with an Avg Tix Price of say $350.00 and 45K Tix Sold, they cleared about $15,575,000 at the gate - Not to mention all the ancillaries that come with it - Not a bad day at the office

ALL IN ALL--- It was a friggin BLAST! Even though they lost the good times had will last a lifetime!

Feel bad for that kid and i was standing not 20 feet when he handed him that stick! My brother was like WTF? wheres mine!

When Sharpy came off we were yelling for him and he stopped long enough to take a few picks and then a few more stopped and waved for the cameras. I was shocked at how cool Tony Esposito was and what great shape he was in! His knees were pretty shot with a limp but the coolest of all the guys we met was The Golden Jet Hull! He was laughing with us and gave my brother and me a puck from the ice! Great guy! Now here is the real shocker.......I was truly blown away that Rocky Wirtz came out and was talking with us all. He was a regular kind of guy and totally down to earth! Asked how we liked seeing the Hawks on TV and of all things.....GET THIS......asked what we thought about ticket prices! I couldnt believe it!

OKAY biggest ASSHOLE of everyone we met was Ryne Sandburg. Acted like we were nobody and most of all when asked for an autograph he said NO he didnt want to take off his gloves! What an ass! Especially when Hull, Savard, Tony Esposito, Fergie Jenks, and Rocky was doing it! SAD!!!

Happy ending:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/c...2610147.column

although I still hope the lout that took the stick in the first place is caught.
