Bears got Cutler

Traded Orton plus 1 2009 and 1 2010 first round picks. Plus another 3rd round pick this year.

I almost fell off my chair. I can't believe the Bears actually have a legit QB.

Bears also received a 5th round pick this year.

Great tight ends though.

Orton and Culter have about the same skill when it all boils down so it will be interesting to see if he can finally deliver.

about two weeks ago I made the comment to a guy at work that putting a QB like Cutler into the current Bear's offense wouldn't make much sense.

are there any decent free agent receivers out there?

Not really. Some old heaping piles of crap and a few judicial liabilities, as far as I now. The Boldin deal got done with Arizona a while back right?

I don't think much of Cutler but I think it is worth the risk. I would sure be happy if he was going to the Vikings.

pass some of that over here... you have to be kidding

now all the bears need is an o-line that isn't over-the-hill and a receiving core that doesn't drop the ball all the time

Obviously he doesn't watch much football. I like Kyle Orton, but Cutler is 1000x better than Orton in every way.

Let me get this straight. Because the Bears have poor receivers they should not get a good quarterback?

Same skill set my ass.

Actually the O line should be better this year than years past. St. Clair was a revolving door and Tait, while decent, is no Pace. Not to mention with Cutler, teams aren't going to be stacking the line with 8 guys.
