Totally... I wonder if Faber can pull it off.

I wish they would be Kid Yamamoto and some othe japanese talent into the WEC featherweight division.

I pick Brown to win again.

Didn't kid yamamoto just lose in japan to one of Dan Henderson's new guys? I think it was like two weeks ago.

Ive been looking forward to this since the last fight
I will be out of town and unable to watch it unfortunately

This is a 50/50 split
it could go either way. Faber will be much more cautious this time around

I'd be very surprised if Faber gets caught like that twice.

You wanna see my itinerary?

He lost a decision. I believe it was his first fight in about 14 months.

Yup... I chalk it up to some ring rust. But the guy he fought against was a beast.

It's too bad he broke his hand in the first round. It might have been a better fight. But he still would have lost. Faber is good. Brown is better.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

I don't think Brown would of won if Faber did not break his hand in the first round. Faber opened Brown up and was way too quick for him but could not throw any punches after the 1st. He resorted to elbows and slapping. I would like to see aa 3rd match but Brown will likely defend againts someone else first.

Im liking WEC more and more these days. Most matches were action-packed and what the UFC "used" to be. Free and stunning VSHD helps too.

I do miss however the balance of weight classes which seems to favor the lighter end of the scale.

That was a pretty good fight, I was happy that Brown won again. It's kind of weird but there's usually more exciting fights in the other organizations than in the UFC.

Did anybody see strikeforce on Saturday? Man, talk about upsets.

WEC = UFC Lite

and Strikeforce and Affliction put on pretty good cards, but they have no where near the depth of fighters that the UFC has - hence they only put on a few events per year. and most of their fighters are UFC rejects.

That's the whole plan for WEC...lighter classes that aren't normally offered in the UFC. They had heavier weight classes a while back, but cut them all out. Now it's only 125, 135, 145, and 155.

It was still a good fight but I think if his hand was not broken he would have won.

Yea WEC is for the lighter weight classes... for the most part.

Strikeforce this weekend was impressive.

For sure, almost a given. But why in the hell was he fighting Cub Swanson? Shouldn't he had fought Garcia or another Top 45'er? Swanson is not a top contender by any means

They probably want to build up Garcia first.
