Perfect game pitched for sox

Yep that is right Perfect game

Good job Mark

CHICAGO (AP) Mark Buehrle pitched the first perfect game in the major leagues in five years, leading the Chicago White Sox over the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 on Thursday.

Buehrle (11-3) got a great catch from center fielder DeWayne Wise leading off the ninth inning to save the bid - and the shutout. Wise entered at the start of the inning as a defensive replacement and when Gabe Kapler led off with a drive to deep left-center, Wise sprinted and, on a dead run, jumped and got his glove above the fence to rob Kapler of a home run.

Michel Hernandez struck out, and with fans chanting Buehrle's name, Jason Bartlett grounded to shortstop. Buehrle was mobbed by teammates between the mound and first base.

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

Although I will say congrats to the Sox cause they are a Chicago team, and that is a hard thing to do, I will show support for my north siders.

Even though I don't really like baseball.

Even with the drama between the teams I put that aside for any pitcher that does a perfect game. After all I was a starting pitcher on the varsity team as a freshman all the way thru my senior year.

So props to any pitcher that accomplishes that

I pitched for 10 years myself, and yes props to anyone who accomplished that. But I can not support the Cubs because my parents and Will are Cubs fans. There will always be drama there.

Mark is fantastic, and a great example of the hype surrounding outright velocity. He touches 87-89 and sits around 85...and can be dominant.

Great job Mark! (from a Cub fan)

I can't believe this is only the 2nd perfect game ever pitched for the Sox and the first since the 20s, I find that crazy personally.

Go Cubs, but regardless, still an amazing feat anytime a pitcher does it.

Hell there has only been 18 perfect games ever thrown. Congrats to Mark and a great effort by the team to come together to help him achieve that. If anyone want to watch the 27 outs its about a 5 min video from the mlb here is a link http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/medi...ent_id=5699295

So after the game, was he escorted to the docs office to give a blood sample for drug testing?

Yeah, he's looking pretty bulked up throwing those 85MPH sliders! It's so funny to see a guy that doesn't have a fastball get a perfect game. But I was thinking about it, and I guess it does make sense considering the batters never get to see a straight pitch coming in.

BTW, this is his 3rd time in his career when he faced the minimum 27 batters. In 2007 for his no hitter, he gave up one walk, but then picked him off first. Oh yeah, and for future trivia, it was Sammy Sosa that was picked off! The first time he faced 27 batters was in 2006 I think, where he gave up 2 singles, but both times the next batters grounded into double plays.
