What I don't get is why can't they just do a hard cast for him??? I know I've seen other players with them. It isn't like he's catching the ball, he just needs to knock the shit out of some people

He could have some ligament damage in there, but I agree, I've seen many a defensive player play with a cast.

I'm sure it's more than just a dislocated wrist if he's out for the entire year. I suppose we'll hear at the 3:45 pm Lovie news conference. This season may turn out to be a nightmare!!

I'm a big Bears fan but the best I can see them going with bad route running receivers, sketchy O-line, shitty secondary, and a Urlacher less D is 9-7 and that's BEST case scenario. I'd like to see them get back to the basics and pound the football with Forte to setup play action to Hester. I hope we still make a play at Anquan. I think we'll sign Derrick Brooks sometime this week too, even though he is like 36 years old.

Minnesota is looking pretty fucking solid.... I'm glad the Colts won their first game at least, I'm a big Colts fan as well

Anyone that questions Urlacher's toughness doesn't follow the sport closely enough, and anyone that questions the ability to play with that injury doesn't understand 2nd and 3rd degree joint separations. Basically, his hand came off his arm.

How do you train, how do you lift and maintain muscle strenght? How do you function during a 6-10 month recovery period?? You don't...and you can't play, period.

Tom

+1 for a non-armchair-linebacker. Those guys are tough as nails and destroy their bodies.

The Bears can not catch a break. The all-QBs-are-belong-to-teh-suck trend contines for them as well.
