Marquardt via KO - head kick, early rnd 2

they gotta keep Melvin and at least one Diaz around to give the gangster/crackhead demographic someone to root for

no, didn't see it, but read about it. I think it's kinda funny how everyone is so high on Nick now (pun intended).

put him back in the UFC and I think he still have trouble with the top 10 guys at 170 or 185

did you hear Nate blaming the commentators influence on the judges for his loss against Maynard?

The Lawler/Manhoef fight was just ridiculous.

You missed a few good fights...though the Wes Sims fight and that Herschel Walker/no name McGee bout were freakin' jokes.

You know those Diaz brothers were the dudes in your home town that you lectured your buddies NOT to invite to the parties

Indeed. Manhoef is getting a reputation as a bit of a Glass Joe.

However:

I don't know if his chin is bad... but might have been a factor of trying to finish and not expecting a counter punch... and Lawler punches hard as hell.

I dunno, that's a few times now that has happened.

Good solid punch from a badly hurt Lawler...but Manhoef was knocked the FUCK out. I know the second punch on the ground probably did as much damage as the first, but still.
