The C-MORE M26 may be available to civilians

The pistol and underslung version would have NFA requirements (destructive devices?) but the standalone "carbine" would be civilian legal without any paperwork if the barrel was extended to 18".

The M26 is a breeching tool and not designed as an anti-personnel weapon. It was chosen by the US military over the KAC Masterkey and Remington MCS Accessory Weapon, both of which use the Remington Model 870 shotgun as a base. The M26 distributes its weight further back compared with the 870 and so it feels lighter.

That is too cool....needless for civi use, but still want one.

new spin on an old idea. but someone will buy it. A master key cost $2K here in indiana plus the tax stamp. lots of money for 4 rounds of 12 gauge under your AR.

but it's fun to shoot!

I don't care about it as another bolt-on accessory to the AR, but as a weapon itself. 18" barrel, 12 round mag (or whatever it will be), Semi-Auto, and configuration that is somewhat familiar...sounds like fun. Probably too much $$ though.
