firearms gathering day

well buffalo range closes in november, so we betta get over there before they close for the winter.

i was thinking of making this the sunday of 9/28/03
lets meet early, like around 8:45 and leave at 9am to head out there.

anyone who comes, please have your own firearms, along with your F.O.I.D. card and ofcourse your ammo.

would anyone else like to join me or us?
ill blow off some shotgun rounds, myabe do some skeet shooting of someone helps me ill pick some up, shoot the target 22 and bring a 9mm.

so that way if anyone else has the same stuff we can have a little shoot off

i am learning so much about these lil 22 LR rounds, did you know a 10mpr breeze can throw it off 1 inch at a shitty 50yards!ballistics i tell yeah its worth taking the time to read and learn, when your trying to hit ol mr, rabbit in the eye...lol

sign up. its like 20 bucks to get in and shoot what ever you want, they got a 50,75,100 yard rifle range, a shotgun with skeet throwers, and pistol and the PIT! shot what ever the hell is down in there...lol

Sorry, Ody.

Max's birthday is that day so I can't make it. But, if Dave can make it I'll send you some .45 rounds you can pop off.

If you have a Wisconsin ID you do not need an FOID. Also if someone with an FOID brings a friend, they do not need an FOID. Call any firing range if you need more info.

mthal, i am sorry but in this dumb ass state, any fireing range each person must have there own fire arms card.

but you know what i remembered something! buffalo range doesnt card.

BUT this doesnt give ANY excuse to miss handle a weapon.

good thing i remembered that.

anyway, hope there is a decent turn out.

Ken, do you have their phone number? Or better yet, ask them about WI residents shooting there when you are there. Maybe if you go in Oct, I might be able to come down.D

also hey, what do you guys usually shoot skeet with?

7 1/2 buck shot?

if so lets all get the same thing, that way we all are shooting equal loads, plus i got some 00 to shoot off too, that should be fun if i can still tag it...lol

i say we all pick up a box of skeet by the time we are done shooting a box a peice, our arms will be plenty sore...lol

should I get the REALLY small clays or the regular size ones ? How good are you at shooting clays?

also, Id like to go to the 100 yrd. range first if theres open spots. I need to get my stuff sighted in for deer season and its been my experience that the 100 yrd range fills up quickly and guys sit on it all day long.

Ive got a spotting scope and a bench rest that Ill bring also

get what ever you wanna shoot, i think i will pick up a muti pack size, i saw them at wallmart for like 9-11 bucks for a case of variable sizes, and i have never shot clays.
also wallmart has the BEST price on shotgun sheel, federal or win, for cheap on a brick.

big time savings, shit you not.

thats fine mike, if ya need a spoter for a bit, just let me know, my hell ill spot by scope in too for a 100 havent done it yet either....that should be fun with a 22 wind drift is the biggest kill of a 100 yard shot, i bet i still keep it withien a plum size though.
